Terms of Service
The terms below cover this website and the client portal. Project work is governed by the signed agreement for that project, which takes precedence over anything here.
Who we are
This site is operated by Dev Labs Development Center (“Dev Labs”, “we”, “us”), a software development company based in Kolkata, India. You can reach us at admin@devlabs.lt.
Accepting these terms
By using this website, booking a meeting through it, or signing in to the client portal, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this site is
The public pages describe our services and past work. Nothing on them is an offer, a quote, or a commitment to deliver. Timelines, prices, metrics and case-study results describe past engagements under their own circumstances and are not a promise of the same outcome for yours.
Booking a meeting
Submitting the booking form requests a slot; it does not confirm one. We confirm by email, normally within one business day, and we may propose a different time or decline. Please book with details that are accurate and your own — we use them to send the invitation and to prepare for the call.
Client portal accounts
Where we give you access to the portal:
- Keep your credentials confidential and do not share a login between people.
- Tell us promptly at admin@devlabs.lt if you think an account has been compromised.
- You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
- We may suspend or close an account for misuse, for non-payment on the related engagement, or where we are required to.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site or the portal to:
- break the law, infringe someone's rights, or send unlawful or deceptive content;
- probe, scan or test the security of the site, or try to reach data that is not yours;
- interfere with or overload the service, including by automated scraping or bulk requests;
- reverse engineer or copy the site other than as permitted by law.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, code, text and the Dev Labs name and marks belong to us or our licensors. Third-party names and logos shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the technologies we work with; their appearance does not imply endorsement.
Project deliverables are different. Ownership of anything we build for you is set by the signed agreement for that project, not by this page.
Project work
Any engagement — scope, fees, payment terms, ownership, confidentiality, warranties and termination — is governed by the proposal, statement of work or master services agreement we sign with you. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, that agreement wins.
Third-party services
The site relies on third parties for authentication, video meetings, email delivery and hosting. Their availability is outside our control, and links to external sites are provided for convenience only — we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Availability
We aim to keep the site and portal available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of them, and we may need to take them down for maintenance without notice.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement in relation to the site itself.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Liability arising from project work is governed by the agreement for that project.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and what we store on your device is set out in our Cookie Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction — without affecting any protection you have as a consumer under the law of your own country of residence.
