Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

Dev Labs Development Center is the data controller for the personal data described here. Write to admin@devlabs.lt for any privacy question, including to exercise the rights below.

What we collect

When you book a meeting. Your name, email address, company name (optional), the date and time slot you chose, and the topic you selected.

When you have a portal account. Your name and email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the basic profile information Google returns. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.

When you email us. Whatever the message and its attachments contain, plus your address and the thread history.

Technical data. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process server logs, including IP address, user agent, and the pages requested, as part of serving and securing the site.

We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers on the public pages, and we do not buy personal data or build marketing profiles.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To arrange and hold meetings you request — to take the necessary steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
• To deliver projects and run the client portal — performance of our contract with you or your employer.
• To keep the service secure and working — our legitimate interest in preventing abuse, diagnosing faults and protecting the site.
• To meet accounting, tax and other legal duties — compliance with a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only as far as their role requires: authentication, database hosting, video meetings and calendar invitations, transactional email delivery, and application hosting. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards permitted under the GDPR — an adequacy decision, or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate additional measures.

How long we keep it

• Meeting requests — for the length of the conversation they start, and normally up to 24 months afterwards so we have the context if you come back.
• Portal accounts — for as long as the account is active, then deleted or anonymised after closure, unless we must keep records for longer.
• Project and billing records — for the retention period required by Indian accounting and tax law.
• Server logs — for the short rolling window our providers operate.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — and under the GDPR where it applies to you as a visitor in the EU or UK — you can ask us to:

• confirm what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct anything inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete data we no longer have grounds to keep;
• restrict how we use it, or object to use based on legitimate interests;
• send data you gave us to another provider, in a portable format;
• withdraw consent, where we relied on it, without affecting past processing.

Email admin@devlabs.lt and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the supervisory authority where you live.

Security

Access to production data is limited to the people who need it, connections are encrypted in transit, and authentication is handled by a dedicated provider rather than by us storing passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat access to client data as the thing we are most careful with.

Children

This site is for business use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page, and we will tell account holders directly where the change is significant.
